Jeff Brantley suggested that this was on purpose and payback for Bruce hitting a HR that broke up Morton's shutout earlier this season at GABP.

Not that it matters for the team, and I'm sure Yonder likes the major league check and per diem, but it's a shame that Dusty can't find a spot in a game like this to use one of the better hitters (imo) on the team. Walt would have been better off bringing up Hermida instead. At least it would appear that Dusty would be more comfortable using the entire roster both on offense and defense. Sept 1 draws closer I guess. And gawd this team needs a LF and SS. And another starting pitcher or 3.
