It is crazy but I can't sleep. I keep thinking about all the potential lineups Dusty might throw out there. Will Mesoraco start? Are we going with all kids? Do the spray charts favor Yonder today? How about Juan Francisco? Will that big bat be in the lineup. Does Valaika get a start or two at short? Being a day game after a night game will the lineup be chock full of rookies? The Reds have scored just two runs in three games so far in the series (one and possibly both being gifts). So what is there to lose? The Cardinals are five games up. Let the kids play!

Yay! Another Opening Day!

The parade is gonna be sweet. Dusty is going to throw flavored toothpicks into the crowd and Arroyo is going to sing 'we are the champions' in hopes of bringing a Worlds Championship back to the Queen City. Dimitri Young will show up with blow for the adults and, yes children, Papa Castellini will be around to entertain with balloons. It's going to be a jamboree for the ages.

Mark Mallory is odds-on favorite to throw out the first-pitch before Game 1. Eric Davis will be flanked by Billy Hatcher and Paul O'neill this time. Just in case. =P
