Has Stubbs broken the 200 K barrier yet? I'm anxiously awaiting that. ;)

Young guys providing the offense.

That HR from Mesoraco was startling -- plus fastball up and in and he turns on it. I don't think I've been as surprised by a home run based on the pitch as by that one, all year. You're talking elite ability to turn on a pitch.

If hitting under .200 is breaking the Mendoza line, is striking out over 200 times passing the Reynolds line?

I thoroughly enjoyed the game last night. Since the Reds closed the upper levels I got to move to field level and sat behind Sappelt. I'd never realized until last night just how big his personality is. If he becomes a regular I believe he will also become a fan favorite.

What to do mean by big?

Personally, I think Sappelt is ready to be a big league regular. They should be looking at him in CF, IMO.

His personality just jumps out at you, kind of like a more subdued BP. I'd never given him enough thought to notice it before but I'm glad I did. If he starts and gets media attention I think our fans will love the guy. I agree with you about CF, too. I keep hoping Stubbs will come around but man he is going the wrong way.
