Good news.


Zack Cozart got cleared by Dr. Tim Kremchek Monday to begin full baseball activities. Cozart’s season ended with Tommy John surgery on his left elbow.
“I can start swinging, throwing, taking groundballs,” he said. “I’m pumped. I told my wife I was so excited. People still want there offseason, but I’m ready to play in like a month.”Cozart says the elbow feels 100 percent.

Very solid player.

What I noticed in the small sample size was that his stat line isn't a true indicator of his affect on a game. He does the little things and makes excellent decisions in games and has a high baseball IQ.

If he can stay healthy, we've got a solid #2 hitter and shortstop.
