Terrible idea. The movie is only 11 years old and was perfect as is. I guess after the writers got more money following their strike they decided to stop even trying to come up wit an original idea.

I am not amused.

Who's scarier: Patrick Bateman or Christian Bale on a set with poor lighting?

There's pretty much no way this won't be terrible. I wonder if they'll really go through with making it.

What makes you say that? I certainly don't like the idea, but at least it sounds like they have a director with some talent...

Just because Fincher likes him doesn't mean he has talent does it? He's never made a movie.

The original is a classic, and it's only 11 years old. The new one is going to suffer tremendously in comparison to the old one, even if it's well done. And I personally think the original was very deft in making the absolute most out of what was an awful book. I just can't imagine any other take on it being any good, but we'll see.
