The Reds are intent on AC becoming a starter, and it seems that he desperately wants to become one as well. So, what are the real expectations from him? IMO, he starts the season in Louisville, works on establishing a changeup, then see how things go. I don't expect him to be in Cincy at all this season (at least as a starter), he's never started at this level, and has only two pitches. I hope he turns into what his hype suggests, but I'm not counting on it.

I've seen him throw four pitches; two of them great and two of them with limited success in Louisville. He has a change-up that is devestating when he doesn't tip it, and a curveball that, in my humble opinion, has a long way to go.

I think it will depend on health and productivity of starters in Cincy. If they produce and stay healthy it allows Reds to keep him in AAA.

I honestly don't see him contributing to the big league club this year.
