Today's forecast:
http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?CityName=Cincinnati&state=OH&site=ILN&textField1=39.0992&textField2=-84.5175&e=0

Today: Isolated showers before noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 59. East wind between 10 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 35. Northeast wind between 9 and 11 mph.

Based on this it looks like the game starts with the temps in the mid to upper 50's but dropping a bit. Wind should be either blowing in from leftfield but trending to blow from left to right.

I get first lineup comment of the year

I hope Cozart can be productive in the 2 slot.. Dusty must have a lot of confidence in him.
Personally, I'd rather have Stubbs or Ludwick there.. but hopefully Dusty is right :)

I admit being down on baseball after watching small and mid-market teams lose their best players to the big boys. Seeing the Reds do what they can to lock up theirs has gotten me back in. I still feel the revenue system in baseball is messed up, but at least the Reds are trying to hold their own.

Going back to that inning. Why Stubbs was not allowed the straight steal on a C with less than 18% CS rate is baffling. You do not have the P coming to bat after hanigan....so it's not like they would IW him when Stubbs steals that base.

Just got back from the game. This was one of those wins that gives me a good feeling about this team. The exciting comeback wins are a blast, but it's games like this that you see from great teams, games where the other team never really had a chance. There was everything a fan could want, good pitching, good enough hitting, some good defensive plays, and a long ball. What more could you want?

Oh, I also performed a good deed for the day... When I got up in the B7 and went to the restroom behind the Sun Deck, a lady left her cellphone on the top of one of the towel dispensers. Waited about 10 minutes then left a note w/the time, cell description and that I was going to drop off the phone at the lost & found. Hopefully she remembered, saw the sign and retrieved the phone.

I was stupid to set it down and turn to talk, but it was criminal for the kid to just steal it. Such is life. Good deed, Kitty!
