Cozart 6, Stubbs 8, Votto 3, Phillips 4, Bruce 9, Rolen 5, Heisey 7, Mesoraco 2, Latos RHP

I like the lineup shakeup. Stubbs might get some pitches to hit being in front of Votto. That said, he still has to make contact, so....

Latos vying for his first W as a Red. His outings have gotten marginally better since his debut, but still has some work to do. It'd be money to have him shut the Cards down and stop this losing train.

For now, I dont' mind it. Somebody had to move up to 1 or 2 with BP going down to 4, and basically everyone's been crappy so why not? That said, what I want to see happen eventually is BP back to 1, Cozy 2, Votto 3, Bruce 4, 3B/LF 5/6, Stubbs 7, C 8, P 9.

Let's get a win behind Latos!

Just got that a few days ago in the 8-run game, give them a few more days, or maybe at least 2 more games, similar to most of last year from what I remember, except they at least managed to eek out at least 3 runs a game more often it seemed, then.

4 runs (win)

I guess you are relying on the planets aligning stat.

Every other offensive stat shows that the Cards were the dominant offensive team in the NL for 162 games last year.

The Cards are still a good offensive team this year, good balance, steady hitters, don't strike out.

I never have been a fan of Dusty and have always thought he was a waste of money, especially for a small market team.

Walt came into this season with a black hole at 3B, LF, and CF. Jury is still out on Ludwick, but CF and 3B appears to be a serious issue. That's on Walt.

If you look at the box score, this game should be closer. The difference between Championship style confidence and a super slump. I haven't checked his line drive rate, but it isn't likely to be very high.

I'm told here that managers don't win or lose games.

We had a decent manager that seemed to have a pattern of making logical decisions based on common sense. He was also paid peanuts. Win. win.

Having an inferiority complex we then went out and threw a bunch of money at a big name guy that coaches by his gut and makes questionable decisions on a daily basis. Heck, the lineup card has been an issue from day one.
