For what it's worth, which is very little considering it's just three games, Leake has pitched much better with Mes behind the dish than Hanigan, and of course Ramon Hernandez (I don't think any pitcher last year pitched better with Hernandez catching, literally. Enought about him though).

Watching Stubbs and you just think, he's a good defender. But watching him play defense often you think, "I thought he was going to get that"...

I never thought that when watching Cameron and have never thought that watching FG.... Scouts may love Stubbs but I think UZR truly understands Stubbs.

My Gawd! You're facing a pitcher (Maholm) who has struggled mightily his first two starts, lasted only 4 innings in each, and has an ERA of 13.5 coming in.... and you can't get jack against him. LOLThey had him on the ropes early, too many at 'em balls that kept them from cashing in. Maholm is good enough to pitch good against anyone, back to back bad starts doesn't mean he's an awful pitcher, but a soft tossing lefty always has a better than most chance against this squad. Just a type they struggle with.
