Well we are looking at now 20 consecutive games without a day off vs the Reds and overall against some very good teams. We get the Nationals for 3 to start if off, but don't see Strausburg...but then we play the Braves, Mets, Yanks, Rockies and Pirates before the month comes to an end. Over those 20 games we have 10 at home, but also will spend 5, yes 5 days in NYC playing 2 vs. the Mets then 3 at NEW Yankee stadium. Come June first where do you see this team being?

They'll go 11-9.

14-6 would be uber dreamy....7-13 would be a sign of a team that just isn't good enough.

if we had 28-29 wins would be good imo. anything more would be amazing. its going be tough tho.

I would like to see 12-8. Yanks are very beatable as long the we don't get "stary eyed" in New york. Braves are up and down and so are the mets. Pirates are pesky but should take at least 2 of three.

This sounds about right. Even 12-8 would be acceptable for me (7-3 at home, 5-5 on the road), but it won't be easy. We need the offense -- specifically Phillips and Rolen -- to become more productive, Latos to start hitting his stride, and someone to step up and stake claim to the #3 spot in the rotation.

The next twenty will tell us what we have. If it's 11-9 we're good. If we're below 8-12 Walt will change some things and sign dudes (LF), if he's truly "all in". If we need to make a move we need to do it before the break if we want to keep up the STL.

They'll be around .500, just like they will be all year.

Agreed...With questions about Bailey and Leake, and our very inconsistent and questionable hitting, I can't see much better.

Nasty stretch of games

We've gone 7-5 so far in this 20-game stretch, despite losing 2 of 3 to the Nats to kick it off. I'm still sticking with my 12-8 prediction.

They are 8-5 right now...I hope they do better then 11-9. 11-9 should be worst case scenario hopefully at this point. Not that it is a big deal one way or the other, but hopefully they can keep it up. Colorado is coming in town this weekend and they are pretty bad. Hopefully with the last game against ATL and the 3 against COL we can take 3 of the 4.

You honestly think we're going to lose 4 of the next 7?
