The Reds bats awokened and they edged the Astros 12-9 , Homeruns by first base man George Crowe, Thirdbaseman Willie Greene and outfielder Marty Keough paced the reds, although starter Andy MacGaffigan was rocked by the Astros, the reds had solid relief from Ryne Duren, Pedro Ramos, Bill Kelso and closer Al Jackson
