Votto better be getting that same zone tonight.

i was thinking the same thing. That first pitch to prince was more outside than the first 2 balls to miggy

Reds Fanatic
06-10-2012, 08:15 PM
Cozart strikes out swinging.

Reds Fanatic
06-10-2012, 08:17 PM

Tony Cloninger

I liked Berry down in AA-AAA...... I thought before they let him go he would be very good depth. Do not know why they did not keep him or do much in general to fill out the AAA club. I mean....Bowden did a better job of stocking the minors at AAA with cheap available talent.

Reds Fanatic
06-10-2012, 08:18 PM
Votto grounds out to 1st. 0-0 after 1.

REDSEER
06-10-2012, 08:26 PM
Homer has good command of the fastball so far....hopefull that bodes well for the rest of the game.

DGullett35
06-10-2012, 08:27 PM
I agree with the command but when it gets bad for him is when he falls too much in love with the fastball. id like to see more of a mixture but hey im no pitching coach so

Reds Fanatic

That 2nd pitch was not remotely close.

WVRedsFan
06-10-2012, 08:35 PM

DGullett35

fearofpopvol1

Even though I'm sure it's not the case, it sure seems that Angel has it out for the Reds.

Reds Fanatic

PuffyPig

If the umps didn't give outs to the Tigers we'd be hitting all night.

Still 2 runs is great, especially when you factor in a nice walk to Bruce, a double steal and a broken bat bloop hit.

Reds Fanatic

I am not sure what Marty is seeing but I don't think I have ever seen a batter called out on interference when the catcher did not even touch him.

It was funny watching Hershisher state the rule, which says the catcher must make contact with the hitter, as the reply clearly shows that no contact was made.

Intentionally. There is an exception if it is done in the act of swinging. In that case, there must be contact, the ball is dead, no runners advance and a strike is called on the batter.
