I hate these last 2 weeks and Chapman's implosion as much as anybody. BUT. But. If the Pirates or Cards were in 1st place and had the stretch we just had, and we STILL couldn't catch them, this place would go nuts!!
"They've lost 5 of 6, have played the weakest team in the AL, their closer has become a reverse closer, slamming the door on his own team every time he pitches, they have a manager who has no clue...and we STILL can't catch them!! They're not gonna implode forever, and we need a lead on them before they turn it around. If we can't even catch them NOW, just shut it down, the season is over."
