Wasn't sure if anyone was going to make this or not so I gave it a shot. Very excited for this game!

He's doing what other managers have done.....get as many in there as possible and with a big lead...he can do that and not get people complaining he did not get this guy or that guy in.

I can't remember the last time a Red did well in the AS game. But like you say, this game is for fun regardless of Bud's silly home field advantage rule.

Per Buck.....Charlie Manuel had some nice things to say about Bruce.... that he does not know how good he can be. He knows....he knows he has to quit trying to always pull the ball. I wish Manuel could be a HC again and for the Reds.

I know lots of people at 67 who don't look that bad. But I agree. I don't think Dusty looks particularly good for 63 either.

I think the shingles took a lot out of him last year. It might have been the reason as to why he retired. Not only was he just getting old but that illness did take a lot out of him.
