Congratulations to Barry Larkin - HOF Class of 2012!!!

I haven't seen a "congratulatory" type of thread on RZ for Larkin, but today was a huge day for Barry & Reds fans everywhere, witnessing our own Barry Larkin (a Cincinnati Kid, to boot!) enshrined forever among the elites as one of the game's all-time greats.

Any particular favorite Larkin memories or stories? Any thoughts on how Barry stacks up against others at his position, past or present?

I was at his last 4 hit game in 2001 I believe against the Brewers.

Remember as a kid being upset that Barry was playing instead of one of my favs at the time, Kurt Stillwell. Boy was I wrong on that one.....course I was 11.

Larkin played every game hard, congrats to him and all of Reds Nation.

A class act that deserved a great day in Cooperstown - well deserved.

Congrats Barry! I can't believe I watched him for 19 years and took his play and leadership for granted. He did it the right way on and off the field.
