The Indians are only 4.5 out of the division lead right now, but they are 11th out of 14 teams in the AL. Playoff odds at 9.6%, a few more losses this week and they could become sellers.

As a batter Choo is perfect for us: left hander .380+ career OBP, lead off hitter, decent speed. He has one year left after this which will be slightly expensive $10 mil?, then free agency. The biggest drawback, could either Choo or Bruce play adequate center? He may be one guy worth putting some serious prospects down for if either could be a CF.

Would be nice but why would the Indians part ways with him?

We would have to give up a guy like Bailey plus prospects, and I still don't think the Indians would do it. Not gonna happen.

If Choo can play CF I would be very interested. If not, I dont think so. Ludwig is actually having a better year at the plate and is play at an AS level over the past 30 days.

Choo is a corner guy.

If I am Walt - I ask Cleveland what it takes outside of Cingani, Hamilton and Stephenson to do this deal...

Perhaps Stubbs and Corcino is enough?

Sounds like the Tribe wants MLB ready players. I 'd offer Stubbs and Lotzkar / Hoover. Throw in Nefali Soto if you have too.

I don't see the Indians giving up Choo for peanuts (stubbs) and AAA players. Also, he's played a grand total of 10 games in center and only one of those since 2006.

I'd rather make a run at Norichika Aoki from the Brewers.
