If the Marlins are selling, then I want Ruggiano.

If I'm trading with them, I want a healthy Josh Johnson (The Marlins probably do too but that is besides the point. Haha)

How good is the package the Dodgers sent? Could we have matched it easily? I would have liked Hanley, but not at the expense of our system/payroll.

And also, if Hanley ever becomes Hanley again, (he pretty much has been on the road this year) that team is scary. Hanley a 30/30 guy with Kemp a 40/40 guy. Now they just need a quality first basemen.

The Dodgers are paying 100% of Hanley's remaining deal.

Pure salary dump for Miami, Eovaldi is a rotational starter, that's it

OK. Just looked up his contract on cots. 15M prorated for rest of this year, 15.5M 2013, 16M 2014. Probably could not have afforded that here, lol.

Nope, Cozart will be fine at SS, he'd be even better hitting 7th where he should be.

I want no part of Hanley. He is good, but unbelievably immature.

Yeah, one baseball guy on ESPNRadio was talking about it last night.

The team chemistry seems great right now, don't do something to upset the balance of the roster

That guy can play CF with the best of them.

I think the Marlins are trying to dump bad assets in order to create payflex rather than simply dumping everyone. I wouldn't be surprised to see them be somewhat active in free agency again this offseason.

Hmmmmm, a 30 year old that's had 2 good months in the majors..... he's not that good. Ruggiano is on a tear but it is trending downwards. I'd rather stick with a cold Stubbs and acquire a hot Ruggiano that will most certainty will trail off.
