Yea Jonathon Sanchez starts a tomm. so X wont be starting that game either. I would like to see what hes capable of in the leadoff spot though. couldnt hurt.

So, now that the 0 for 10 streak is over, think we can make it 2 in a row on the other side?

And we have the best seats ever for tonight's game...behind our dugout, 6 rows back.http://yfrog.com/ki3wqbqej

Reds go down 1-2-3 in the first. 10 pitch inning.

DGullett35
07-28-2012, 08:17 PM
Id like to see Cueto keep that pitch count down in the early innings. Hes struggled with that some in his last 2 starts even tho hes had good results

Tom Servo
07-28-2012, 08:19 PM
Welp. This is bad. Two straight singles and a pickoff throw into centerfield. 2nd and 3rd, no outs.

Tom Servo
07-28-2012, 08:20 PM
Yep. Of course. CarGo single to right. 2-0 Rox.

Reds Fanatic
07-28-2012, 08:20 PM
Cueto in early trouble as Fowler and Rutledge single and then advance as Cueto has an error on a pickoff attempt.

Gonzalez singles in 2 runs. 2-0 Rockies.

DGullett35
07-28-2012, 08:29 PM
Cueto will still go 6 and not give up another run. I have faith. Hopefully the bats come alive. When was the last time Bruce had a big game?

Reds Fanatic

He gets out of the inning. 3-0 Rockies after 1.

Tom Servo

That actually turned out better than I anticipated there. Thought the Rox would put up at least 4.

Oh Dallas seems very cool. I hold nothing against any Reds related people on Twitter. Especially Fay and Dallas Latos. The questions people ask on there are usually really, really, really stupid. I feel bad for them, Dallas is just a fan who gets bombarded by idiots every time Mat pitches bad. And Fay has to answer the same questions day after day after day, 90% of which people can Google, and another 8% of which are questions I would yell at a 10 year old for asking.

DJ LeMahieu may be the silliest name in baseball.

And yet he gets a base hit. 1st and 3rd, two outs.

Hey. You gotta problem with guys named D.J.?

Tom Servo

I don't like this decision to leave him in. Cueto is getting squeezed and he doesn't have his good stuff to begin with.

No Chapman in this game. If hitters decide to not swing, a ump with a miniscule strike zone is not good.

Remember when he threw Joey out just for muttering something under his breath, without so much as showing any form of disrespect at all? He loves being noticed.

Johnny had a rough night. Umpire was horrible, especially in the sixth, but his line was 6 innings, ten hits, five earned runs, two walks and only three strikeouts. Not a stellar night.

Have you noticed how young a lot of these umpires are? Did a bunch of them retire over the past couple of years? I remember when the average age was like 50-55. 1st base ump looks 28.

I'm not being sentimental about it. I'm just not willing to give up on a guy so quick after he's been so productive in the past. Bad weeks, months, and even years happen in baseball. All the time. I'm not happy with his production, but the freaking out is a little overboard considering we're nearly 20 games over .500.
