Anyone seen him pitch this year?

His ERA and number of saves look good, but H/IP and # of strikeouts don't seem all that favorable for a back of bullpen guy.

Is he showing signs of returning to past form? Has he learned to pitch with carft and finesse? What's up with him?

I'm dying of curiosity. Anybody seen him pitch lately? Hows his velocity?

PS I'm going to watchhis last outing on on MLB TV later, but don't want to wait that long for a first report, as I am dying of curiosity!

Yes, but putting two guys on base the inning you enter the game is not particularly ideal for a set up man either. :( Anyway, I'm an optimist by nature and think that maybe Brox is just starting to round into form following his elbow injury (surgery?) last year. :)

More hits than innings pitched, would like to see that reversed for a set-up/ shutdown guy.

I just want to know if there's ever been another baseball player that weighs 300 pounds.

Walter Young (http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_DW6fhfwP6CA/S80U3Cs5toI/AAAAAAAAAgo/cd70PZ8lRH0/s1600/young-walter.jpg) and his 322 pound, 38.2 BMI might give ol' Broxton a run for his money.

Adam Dunn is probably close to 300. Sabathia too.

This is what 300 pounds of muscle looks like. When he finishes pitching they have to run out and measure the mound to make sure it is still the proper height.

Personally, I think their throwback uniforms MUCH better accentuated the chiseled pieces of humanity that is/was Hot Coffee.

1 homer in 32 innings is really nice though. FIP at 3.39 isn't bad either.

Broxton > Bray

It's that simple. We are a better team not needing Bray to flail out there. Masset may return soon also.

Broxton, Arredondo, Masset, LeCure, Marshall, Chapman, Ondrusek, Simon

This bullpen consists of beasts. Realize, this is all without Madsen!!!

Todd has graduated from the hidden ball trick to the hidden ballboy trick.

Just watched Broxton's last save for KC on mlb tv (1week ago).

He looked pretty darn good!!!

95 mph fastball, multiple nasty 88-89 mph sliders, and no good contact off of him. Very encouraging!

Speaking of Decaf, did anyone catch the image he tweeted of his elbow post-Tommy John?
