Like the lineup. Would still put Stubbs in 8 hole, but beggers can't be choosers. I just think he'd walk more there, then sac bunts wouldn't be adventerous anymore.

Also, we play the AL West in interleague next year.

It has been more than two, I believe. And yes, he has some back issues as revealed on an MRI. Says he could play if he had to.

Cingrani's first pitch is a low 91 mph fastball on the outside black to a lefty. He's big and has a very athletic looking build..Oh, and he wears the high socks. He's got a pretty easy looking delivery, but he's taking a lot of deep breaths out there...gotta have an adrenaline pump going. ;) Strikes out the first hitter on a low and away 93 mph fastball. Hanny finally calls for something other than a fastball for the second hitter and he grounds out to SS. The third hitter grounds to Votto and although Cingrani was over there in time Votto takes it himself. During the third hitters AB Cingrani looked really calm...he looks go-o-od. Maybe Chapman CAN remain a closer... Ah, I'm just dreaming! Happy to see the kid's ML debut. and even happier he looked that good.

There's just something about Cingrani's arm action. Looked very good that inning. He cocks his wrist when his arm is behind him, and gets a lot of whip action on his fastball. Nice to see the HR didn't shake the kid up. He does all the simple things a good pitcher does. Works low in the zone, works quickly, throws strikes early to get ahead, etc. Looks really good for a kid from last year's draft. He does this quirky thing with his shoulders before every pitch...he dips one shoulder and then the other quickly like he's trying to keep his shoulders loose. Not that it matters, just an observation. :dunno:
