At this point, I think it would be a good idea to keep Ludwick on the bench for another 2-4 games, and have him back by the last series so he can shake off some rust.

I guess having Cozart help Heisey out in cf reflects Bronson's fly ball tendencies.

Is it just getting dark out earlier there at GABP or are those rain clouds?

I don't have it on, but there is some rain in and around the area. It looks like most of it is going to stay north, however.

Very very close. I thought Rolen's was a sure gapper when it was off the bat, but a nice play by Schafer.

It's been gloomy and at times, rainy all day, although there was bright sunshine for a little while this afternoon.

It's going to be like this until sometime Friday.

I'm not dreading Arroyo in the post season, but I can't justify him being #2 and Latos #3.

Weeks singles, Braun doubles. 2nd and 3rd, still two outs.

Two of us. He's pitching batting practice right now.

I don't see how giving up base hits to three good/great hitters followed by an infield single makes him batting practice.

WVRedsFan

Hard hit balls. And everyone is putting good wood on the ball. Plus the pitches are or were right over the heart of the plate.

I think Bronson struggles against Milwaukee, but I also think it was too early to say the wheels were coming off when you did. He may still come out and pitch 2-3 scoreless inning here. Either way, I trust Arroyo to give it everything he has in the playoffs.

I tried to look up Hanigan's minor league stats without success, but was he this good in the minors? He's a solid catcher in every way.

How about some offense?? I think even the 1982 Reds scored more than 10 runs more than this team has this year. You would think they would luck into 8 runs at least once in the last month

This team looks really worn down.

This is a weird time of the season. It is hard for me to even get involved in these games. All that matters now is how they play starting in game 163. We haven't seen the playoff starting 8 in a lineup for weeks.

So I humbly speak on behalf of many I wager when I say, "Relax".
