I'll be at this one (as well as several other mods) so you guys better behave!! :p

And since the results were so good with a 9-0 victory last time around, I'd feel negligent if I didn't declare my love for Dianna Agron at least once!

I would seriously empty my savings to be this guy. Holy crap!

Dianna Agron auctions off a kiss at the #glaadawards - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9t0ziMZ9T8)

Now that that's out of the way... Let's win this thing and move onto the NLCS!!

Lets win this thing tonight and don't let the Giants think they have a chance to come back.

I'm pumped for tonight's game. Headed to the ball park earlier to go to the Hall of Fame. I had some bobbleheads to pick up. As a member, I also got a free tour of the park today, although with the playoffs it was a bit scaled down. Got to meet Jaimie from Better Off Red.

Also, while in the Hall of Fame building, I was interviewed by your NBC news affiliate. I was nervous since my friend was also filiming me with his iPhone in the background. I will probably end up on the editing room floor, but it was exciting nonetheless for this out-of-towner:)

The park looks great. Can't wait to see it filled with red tonight.

Hoping for a much better outcome than when I was at game three in 2010.

Go Reds!

I sure would like that batting order more if Dusty would slide Cozart down to 7th or 8th and slide everybody else up 1 spot.

Yes. Posey was nonchalant in retrieving the ball and coaxed BP into thinking he had 3rd easy. Play at 3rd wasn't close.

And here's a hit by Ludwick. 1st and 2nd, two outs. Bruce up.

1st pitch flyout when the guy is struggling to find the plate :(

Brutus
10-09-2012, 06:55 PM
The one thing I wish Bruce could do that he doesn't... drive the ball opposite field. He just doesn't seem to have any force behind his oppo hits. I imagine it's because of the uppercut swing. When he hits it to right, he really hits it. But everything away is usually weak contact.

Brutus

1st pitch flyout when the guy is struggling to find the plate :(

I've never understood this comment. That's the best pitch to hit... after a guy has struggled throwing strikes to a couple of hitters, you're almost always going to see a good pitch to drive on the first pitch.

Or swing at a pitch that misses because you're trying too hard to hit something that isn't there. Not sure which was the case here, but Bruce didn't get ahold of it like we'd like.

It certainly doesn't mean it will wind up in a good result, but you're a lot more likely to see a hittable strike on that first pitch, and sometimes you can sit dead-red on it too.

Brutus

No problem swinging at the first pitch, but you better drive it and not pop it up like Bruce did.

It just goes back to my previous comment that Bruce doesn't drive the ball to left field the same way he does to right. Maybe that's a reason he should lay off that pitch on the first strike, but fundamentally I think that is a time that good hitters should go for blood.
