Well, the neighbor kids would listen to the radio down at old man Johnson's general store and then run around the neighborhood and tell everyone the score - usually give 'em a penny to get candy with when they went back to the store!

I really would like a new hitting coach on the staff next year regardless who the manager is. Not that Jacoby has done a horrible of a job... But a set of fresh eyes and Ideas might do wonders for some these guys....

I thought the pitch to Stubbs was way too good to be looking at with two strikes. It may have been an inch off the plate, but close enough when an umpire is showing signs of calling that pitch
