I'd have to go with 2012. High expectations, monumental choke artists.

2010 was a surprise, 2012 was supposed to be our year.

We lost to a team that talent wise we are better than, and we did it in the most pathetic fashion I can think of.

Game 3 will haunt me for the rest of my Red-Loving life.

And then to come back today only for one of our crappy players to K at the end of the game is fitting.

How are you guys going to deal with this loss?

I plan on smoking massive bong rips tonight and watching The Goonies. It's my happy place.

I don't even care who wins the WS, as long as it isn't the Cards. But they probably will, because it seems like when there is something I DON'T want to happen in sports it does.

Sigh, the life of a Cincinnati Sports fan.

2012. HANDS FREAKIN DOWN. This will go in sports history.

2012, no doubt. I don't think I'll get over this for a long time. To be honest, I'm losing faith in sports in general. I'm such a die-hard but I'm tired of feeling this way every year with at least one of my teams.

seeing as this is one of the most epic collapses in baseball history..2012

Awful Announcing ‏@awfulannouncing
The Reds are the first team to lose 3 consecutive home games after having a 2-0 lead in the NLDS. FIRST!

2010..getting no hit and swept sucked. At least we got to see some wins...

2012. 2010 postseason was over from the gecko. in 2012, all we needed was just 1 win...

2010. That was ugly.
Give the Giants a little credit. We did'nt hand them anything other than a run in the tenth inning of game three. They out hit the Reds, out pitched the Reds and out managed the Reds the final two games. They deserve to move on.

2012 --- but I feel snakebit -- Votto injury - Cueto injury -- have to wonder how the flu got to Latos - still think Dusty mismanaged the 10th inning in not walking Arias

2010. At least we got a hit and won a couple games in this series.

2012. 2010 postseason was over from the gecko.

Never knew those annoying GEICO commercials has such a negative impact.

Honestly though, 2012 hurts a lot more. We had every opportunity, down to the last at-bat. I suppose the fact we never capitalized on them means we deserved to lose, but it doesn't make it suck any less.

2012, I would rather get no-hit 3 games in a row than blow a 2-0 series lead with 3 games at home.

Also, game three was ours, and we couldn't get a second run to put it away. Homer's pitching performance was stellar, and we squandered the opportunity to put it away.

Some of it is on Dusty, but the offense had several chances to crawl back into it today, and they didn't. End 'o story.

2012. The Reds had better pitching, more experience, higher expectations. ...especially after winning the first 2 games. The announcers kept repeating "big time players step up in big time situations" (Posey). Our guys didn't.

TBH, 2011 did. That team should have been a playoff contender and finished below .500. Now that was a disappointing season.

2012. The Phils were just plain better and I wasnt surprised to be swept. This year we were legit WS contenders.

2012 like somebody else mentioned after getting no hit .I knew we were done that year . This year stings as bad as any i can remember and whats worse for me is living in N.Y. I've got to hear all about the yankees  maybe baltimore can shock em that would take some of the sting away from this collapse . Well maybe andrew Luck and the colts can beat up on the jets sunday:thumbup::D:beerme:

What a terrible way to wake up in the morning, I get to the office at 0730 turn on my computer and get punched in the gut, pic of Giants celebrating

i was so confident that the reds would win one of three at home...

But what poetic justice, Rolen striking out to end the season and maybe his career

2012. Epic Choke.

We were supposed to be veterans this time around with a solid pitching staff and home field leading 2-0. This is one for the record books.

They got beat by a superior team delivering a great performance in 2010.

This was giving away a series to a weaker opponent... at home.

This is 10x worse.
