A 3 team trade today. Didnt take Billy Bean long to do something.. Heath Bell to the D-Backs/ Chris Young to the A's Pennington to the A's and a prospect infielder a Yordy Cabrara goes to the Marlins from the A's

Miami is picking up just over a third of the money left on Bell but the Snakes also picked up the option on J.J. Putz so they are going to have an expensive pen when you factor in the other guys they have like David Hernandez and Brad Ziegler getting arbitration after great years. Will be interesting too see how Bell takes knowing he's not the closer, but they could also try to cash in on Putz and get a cheap young player in a trade for him.
