Like seriously…there was a lot of smoke yesterday about Toronto. A lot. Yes, it could have just been erroneous reporting.
But was there some sort of “intervention” by a third party? Could have been as simple as a back channel commissioner or union rep “hold up…the Dodgers are putting together one final monster deal you’ll want to see…but just wait to see it before you go to Toronto.”
