All three guys are in their 20's, have testicles and have probably eaten Skyline after being prodded to, I see a lot in common there

However to say he isn't that different then Elly is wild and honestly he isn't really close to the same as Burns or Stewart who both have been more valuable or just about as valuable as him and they are both 5-6 years younger.
Elly called up in 2023 at 21 years old has 11.9 war so far
JJ called up in 2022 at 24 years old has 2.4 war oh and he was cut by the A's
Chase Burns in not even 1 full season in the league has more career war then JJ at 3.2 and Stewart in 76 games is gaining on JJ with 1.8 career war and he is just 22.
They all have top, elite prospect pedigree. All of them are producing at a high level right now. Bleday and Elly are the only ones who have produced at an above average level for a full season. ‘
Yes, Elly, Burns and Stewart are younger and likely will be more valuable overall players. However, it makes little sense to trade any of them, since they all are under team control for many years, and all have a reasonable expectation of being productive and affordable.

To be fair, he said "hitting" not "getting on base"
There is indeed a difference.

To be fair avoiding outs > hitting, it's baseball, not hitball

I am not arguing otherwise. Maybe you are in a bad mood or something, but no need to be a jerk.
Any way you slice it, though, a .214 batting average is not good. when you get a hit you sometimes get more than 1 base. 2-4 bases > 1 base.

He really isn’t that different from Elly, Burns and Stewart.
no no... don't do that. By that standard Senzel and India are no different than Stewart.
Not all draft years are created equal. Bleday has interesting MLB numbers prior to this year including leading the AL in doubles once. He's go talent. But crowning him after 127 hot PAs might be brake pumping worthy. I've come around on him, but cautiously.

Fine, then the same needs to be said about Stewart, Burns, and the Brewers Kyle Harrison.

735 OPS vs LHP (805 for his career) Arroyo is 689 vs minor league LHP but ok

You are trying to make it too black and white. Bleday has enough service time to say that is who he was. He's made adjustments and is making the claim; this is who he is.
Stewart hit the ground running and is still hitting. In his rookie year. Burns had all the underlying numbers with the expected struggles last year. He's a CYA candidate right now. Bleday is what? 28?
Not nearly the same. You could compare him to Ludwick. Maybe JD Martinez. EE, maybe. Nelson Cruz might be a match.
Not not guys under 23. Especially the ones dominating at under age 23.
Bleday has a prospect pedigree, but has more to prove at this point in his career than Stewart does simply due to age.

In his only full season, Bleday was well above average. Burns and Stewart have yet to play a full season.
People are acting like Bleday has never had success at the MLB level. He’s already been successful.
