Anything under a 75 million payroll next year would be a disgrace after the way the fans turned out this year. I think they could maybe front load a longer term FA deal, but I have my doubts they'll go past 3 years for anyone. I could see them taking on an expiring contract in a move that limits the amount of prospects they'd have to deal.Quote:

Don’t hold your breath on $75 million. Everything they’ve said and done points to a low payroll. They’ll try to improve with trades and modestly priced FA’s. Any major pickups will be in the nature of high potential younger guys or “solid” veterans. That’s what I expect, anyway.Quote:
