Re: Netflix Instant Streaming Recommendations Thread
I recently finished watching Stargate SG1 on there. I'm now onto Stargate Atlantis.

The first season of this biting and quick-witted Showtime dramedy centers on a motley crew of grim reapers who escort the dead into the afterlife, a group headed by a droll boss (Mandy Patinkin) and anchored by a college-age newcomer (Ellen Muth). The newbie doesn't quite know what she's doing -- or even why she was chosen for the job in the first place. But soon, she grows to recognize the poetry in her purpose.

I keep going British. Watching season one of Blackadder now.

I watched them when they showed it on local public TV a year or so ago. Season 1 is OK but the rest are gold.

Yeah, I watched them then as well. iirc, Atkinson made the character a bit more shrewd after season one.

Exactly.

I'm up late because I'm finally watching Battlestar Galactica. Really pulls you in.

Besides Babylon 5, that was my favorite scifi show. Season 1 is about as flawless of a season you will see from any show. Season 3 is mehh but season 4 redeams the mistakes from season 3.
I have now started to watch Supernatural. I'm shocked as to how good of a show that is. Never seeing the show, I thought it was for teenagers but it is a dark show at times and is well written in my opinion. It almost has an "X-Files" feel to it (not as good obviously). I'm glad I am giving that show a chance.

I am about 7-8 episodes into it. Suprised at how much I like it so far.

I agree, though Game of Thrones gives it a run for its money.

I enjoy it, but I think it's too uneven for that title.
I'd say best show right now is Breaking Bad.

I am watching Breaking Bad right now on instant streaming. So far it has kept my attention and is a good show. I am late into season two and just watched an episode that left me farily distrubed. I have a feeling that it will be a changing point in the development of Mr. White. I have a feeling you know what I am talking about.

I found myself up to 2 AM a few times watching Breaking Bad ... just one more episode ... :yikes:
