Rockets and Thunder battle tooth and nail through 2 overtimes with OKC coming out on top 125-124. Alperen Sengun drops 39 in a losing effort. Great game to start the season.

V. J. Edgecombe breaks 76ers rookie debut record for points with 34.
That was fun to watch. I did not realize that Edgecombe was going to be a high-volume (5-for-13) three point shooter, so that was new. His athleticism is off the charts. Although, knowing the history of Sixers draft picks, I'm a little worried that Edgecombe is going to hit the restroom on the plane home and get sucked out of the toilet at 10,000 feet.Quote:
