Yorman's double makes it 7-5 Dayton in the eighth.
Carlos Contreras gives up a run in the ninth but holds it together to save a nice win for the Dragons, 7-6.
Billings is getting routed 7-0 in the seventh. Just two hits for the Mustangs. Consider that they scored 16 runs in the final two innings last night.
Also, he hit three batters tonight. Surprised there wasn't a fight. Perhaps he is working on a new pitch.Quote:

Lotzkar has definitely been a disappointment in AA.

Donald Lutz, who has been struggling a bit since coming back from the DL and rehab, cracked a 2-run shot in the eighth inning last night to lift Bakersfield to a 5-3 victory. Our boys managed only four hits.
Josh Smith, Blaine Howell and Pat Doyle pitched well.
The AZL lads are troubled. They blew a 3-run lead in the bottom of the ninth last night and lost in 11, 5-4. But Vaughn Covington was sharp over two innings, and Michael Salter for 2.2.
My boy Tanner Rahier has been slumping lately. Hopefully he turns it around.
