Re: 7/25/12 Reds @ Astros
Heisey should have crushed that 0-1 pitch

Not sure I understand the rationale here. Mes has been hitting better of late.

Re: 7/25/12 Reds @ Astros
Should've bunted him over ;)
Re: 7/25/12 Reds @ Astros
Heisey strikes out swinging.
Re: 7/25/12 Reds @ Astros
Heisey out of the way, now let's go to work.
Re: 7/25/12 Reds @ Astros
Offer the Phillies Heisey.
Re: 7/25/12 Reds @ Astros
Phillips hitting for Marshall
Re: 7/25/12 Reds @ Astros
Why wasn't Heisey bunting there?
Re: 7/25/12 Reds @ Astros
Runner on 2nd and you pinch hit a very high strikeout guy for a high contact rate guy? Makes sense. Or not.
Re: 7/25/12 Reds @ Astros
Heisey swings at everything all the time. I disagree with hitting for Mes with Heisey.
I don't give Ondrusek much credit here, but this game is on Dusty.

Logan is a below average pitcher. He is who he is. It's a manager's job to put him in a position to succeed. Dusty did not do that.

Logan is an awful pitcher. Everyone knows this. He can't control how he's used. He's doing his best, but his best is not good enough for high leverage situations.

Can't chance a 6-4 line out DP.

For 90% of the year, the back of the bullpen has been Chapman-Marshall-Ondrusek.
