Re: 2025 Cincinnati Bengals Part 3: Can the Defense Get a Stop?
Myles Murphy with a sack today takes over the team lead with 5.5 on the season. Murphy has played really well last few games…looks to be a Hubbard type that can get you 8 or 9 sacks a year and seal the edge. Biggest issue for next season is finding pressure as Trey is walking out the door.

Cody Ford with a 21-yard reception.
I felt bad the defender guarding him

He was spilt out wide they didn't even try and disguise it...
Stewart with his first career sack as well today...
Bengals beating up on bad teams down the stretch...
Re: 2025 Cincinnati Bengals Part 3: Can the Defense Get a Stop?
Opposing coaches need to start looking at who has a birthday on the Bengals lol
Burrow tied Carson for 4th most throwing TDs in franchise history. He'll be sitting out the 4th quarter for the 2nd week in a row.

Because Jalen Rivers is listed 1st on the depth chart.
But, go ahead and ignore the doo-doo that surrounds this franchise and move the goal-post to any place that makes you comfortable.

Well, the Dolphins didn't quit like I thought they would. The Bengals floor is still the 13th pick.

I've always liked Murphy, from the time the was drafted. Even with the early struggles, I felt like he become a very nice player eventually. That seems to be the way he's trending.

Have we given up on Shemar Stewart already?
Murphy is kinda proof not to write someone off after their rookie season.

Re: 2025 Cincinnati Bengals Part 3: Can the Defense Get a Stop?
Why is this team winning games?
Why are they playing Stone on defense and not a younger guy to see how they play?
I get playing Burrow and Chase because it was a home game.
This team cant win right and they cant lose right either.

You must not remember the 90s.
The Bengals would start out horrid and then once they were eliminated from playoff contention would do the "dead cat bounce" and win out in meaningless games and blow whatever draft position they had. Didn't really matter because they would inevitably screw the pick up too until Marvin got here.
Lather, rinse, repeat.

Tanking is the scourge of professional sports. I’m glad the Bengals don’t partake.
Re: 2025 Cincinnati Bengals Part 3: Can the Defense Get a Stop?
To be fair I only see one team out of 32 tanking right now
Raiders

Whenever I become convinced that that a team I root for is no longer trying to win the games it plays is when I no longer a fan of that team.
