We need new ownership, but the Reds are Cincinnati. Fans who want otherwise can go elsewhere as the history of this team here is greater than you or I.
Best of luck to the MLB expanding to a city of your choice though. Really. It baffles me that the Carolinas do not have a team, but I’m guessing it was due to fear of the Braves market. I think it makes a lot more sense personally than expansion to Montreal again.

Lol...all you need to do is look at the pic of this guy and listen to the sound bite in the article. This dude is a Richard, in the worst way.

Phil probably needs to stay behind the scenes for a while after that interview.
As someone who thought the billboard idea was initially stupid, Phil's comments today make me want to donate.
It was spoken like a man who truly does not understand that "NOT BASEBALL" is a legitimate answer to his question and a serious problem for his business.

Phil Castellini Came to opening day dressed like a villain from a Tim Burton movie, so it’s fitting he acted worse than one.

Statement from Reds president Phil Castellini: “I apologize to Reds fans and regret the comments that I made earlier today. We love this city, we love this team, and we love our fans. I understand how our fans feel and I am sorry.”

Then he goes on TV and tries to justify his statement when asked about it. Now hours later after the PR team can get a handle on things he makes an apology. There is a lack of humility in this whole situation which makes this apology feel pretty worthless.

Yeah, it's an apology for saying something, not an apology for believing what he clearly believes. This won't change his attitude towards the fanbase or the city of Cincinnati.

You can’t swing your phallus and act Jerry Jones in Dallas if your approach is callous
