And Lodolo is going to get injured in late February. And people are going to say “if we’re in contention by the All Star Break, Reds are going to be major players. And we’ll say I told you so, haters.”
Just to be clear, my “devil’s advocate” position is that I am trusting the numerous reports that say that the Reds intend to spend money this offseason to improve the team. And what’s wild, is that on this board, that is a “devil’s advocate” position.Quote:

No, the real question is whether the Reds will defy their own history. Some fans believe that, in the end, the Reds will compromise with second or third tier pickups because they are cheaper to obtain. There is strong precedent for Reds shopping in the shallow end of the pool.Quote:
