I want Wall if I can have 1 of em. I am not 100 percent sure PP still isn't considering going pro. Just a hunch. Nothing else really.

Pat is likely to be back, but he will consider the NBA if for no other reason than it's the weakest year in like 20, especially with big men. But I think Pat realizes he's not NBA ready - not a lot of room for a 6'8" PF with no game outside a couple feet from the rim. That's mostly what he was limited to due to injuries, and I think he knows that.
There's a real good chance we get Wall, and Cousins is a real possibility too. It'll be a fun few weeks.
Should point out that Cal went back to Memphis to try to mend the fences. He got up and walked out to take a phone call.
One reporter asked " can you talk about how you killed the program"?
Another asked him about the money and he got up and walked off. This was before the question above and he came back saying he had to take a phone call.
Pat should definitely be back. His current skillset would get swallowed up in the league.
On the other hand, if he returns, he is likely going to have the following to contend with for minutes:
DeMarcus Cousins
Daniel Orton
Matt Pilgrim (depends on if you believe Matt Jones)
Perry Stevenson
I realize that the latter two may be bench fodder, but Patterson will likely take a minutes hit with Kentucky's depth.
I say he will be back though.
Speaking of Memphis, just saw this on Memphis Commerical Appeal. It's concerning their search for a new coach.
Bruce Pearl? :confused:Quote:
Johnson said he's been ``been inundated with applicants'', but did not reveal any potential candidates. Among those whose names have surfaced include USC's Tim Floyd, who has Southern roots; Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy; Clemson coach Oliver Purnell; Tennessee coach Bruce Pearl; and former Calipari assistants Tony Barbee of UTEP and Derek Kellogg of UMass.
Before going to the ddm, Cal had about a zillion half court sets. He published a book several years ago giving away about 200 of em. Required reading for high school coaches. Also, I would guess, with a couple exceptions, UK's current crop of guards do not equate to the ddm either.
Yeah but Memphis Commercial Appeal says he's on the short list for the Memphis job. Apparently they have a super donor who wants to help them make a "wow" hire. Pitino and Pearl are supposedly the two at the top of the list.
Here's the LINK.
Oh, he'll find a way to utilize Patterson. He adjusts year-to-year based on personnel like any good coach would. If you watched closely, this year's Memphis team didn't play all that similarly to last year's national runner-up team. Everyone knows about the DDMO, but this team didn't have Rose running the show... they had a lot of sets this year. The defense was way different too.
Adjustments??? Wow! That'll be neat! :)
