Re: Phil Castellini surprised that Opening Day tickets still unsold
I turn them on here and there but honestly I hope to god none of you are actually watching 9 innings of this garbage day in and day out.

I have been watching the Hunter Greene starts from the beginning of them and watch while I am doing cardio (generally do an hour on the treadmill or elliptical every day). Aside from that, I flip around.
But FCB hasn’t watch a second and makes a lot of absolute comments that are apparently just based on looking at box scores.

I watched the last three games myself, I also listened to a couple other teams games on the radio.
It's baseball season, it's what I do when I can.

I dozed off between Hunter Strickland pitches last night.

I have tried to catch Hunter Greene so far, but man. It's just so dire watching this lineup, I dunno if I'll continue or not.
Feels like a team to just catch highlights and look at box scores, like I don't actually need to know the ins and outs of someone like Tommy Pham. 95% (optimistic) to 100% (cynical) of this roster won't be around the next time the Reds are good so it just feels especially pointless.
I've been watching the Blue Jays some though - Vladdy is going to hit 50 this year!

I've watched a few innings here and there, but given the hoops I have to jump through to watch it will be few and far between going forward especially when it gets warm out. Has to be the earliest I've given up on them during any season I can remember.

Whether I watch every inning or look at the stats page, you guys claim I know nothing and I'm pure pessimism (despite the facts). What am I missing by not watching Pham? What should I be anticipating from him going forward? Ok. This team is 2-9. What are they likely to improve to?
As Redsfaithful said, the only kids worth tuning in for are Greene and Stephenson (and India when he returns). Man that's some thin gruel.
"Man, this guy clearly doesn't see that this .200 winning percentage team is actually a .350 winning percentage team. Sucka."

I get your argument to a point but a week of ABs generally tells you nothing about a batter, let alone just by looking at the box scores. I think you know this too.

If it jazzes you to see a .200 team climb to a .400 team, I'm not stopping you.

Of course you're not.
You're just stopping by to tell us we're all fools

No, I'm here too. I just don't understand the excitement of tracking Pham's loud outs.

Nah, you're not here. You're just being the Jester, you say what you want, deride, stir **** up. Bunch of that going on all over the board, always does when a losing streak happens too. It's a long season ahead. Might want to pace yourself

So now my being here is dictated by watching this terrible product?

I’d say we’re just responding in kind to the President & COO of the Reds

Of course not.
I'm just saying what I feel as well.
