Why not just sign Lucas Giolito to a two year deal with an opt out to get a veteran starter? He will be cheaper than trading and giving up prospects and has no injury history and gives you that veteran that will give you innings? You can make the argument his performance after he was traded from the White Sox but if you look at his prior years, he was pretty damn reliable.
Giolito gave up 41 HR last year. I don't see him wanting to sign a short term deal to pitch in GABP and reenter FA coming off a 50 HR season.Quote:

Inree reds ally don’t want to see Fraley or Benson go. I have no idea why so many people are ok with Benson going. He has the potential to be the best of the young bats. Find a RH platoon that can play RF and that’s that.Quote:
