BvP splits are not worth taking into account because of small sample size. Price is a dope.

I agree on the latter and disagree on the former. 31 PA against random pitchers is SSS, 31 PA against the same pitcher isn't really. Same pitch mix, same delivery, same velocity. I think you'd have a pretty good read on whether a guy can hit a pitcher after 31 PA.

Eh...maybe. But if my option is Skip Schumaker to replace Bruce, I would still go with Bruce.

It looks like Price is trying to give the regulars days offs now and then. If he was due for one anyway, might as well rest him against someone who he hasn't had success with.
