Reds win 7-2
I'm just hoping to see some highlights on BBTN... Last night they skipped the Bucs vs. Reds altogether, but showed A's highlights twice :(
Hate watching the whole hour show for nothing...
"This one belongs to the Reds."
I think I'll tune into Tracy tonight.
The Braves beat the Brewers.
So... the Reds are 32-21 since July 1st
Nice win.
Coffey's first save. Nice. :)
If we could soundly beat contenders consistently, they wouldn't be contenders.Quote:

We are 29-35 against the 9 teams still in contention for a playoff spot. If you included the Cubs, who were, until recently, in wild card contention, we are 36-40.
So, IMO, I would say that we have more or less held our own against the better teams.
But until our pitching improves, we aren't going to consistently beat on the best teams in the league.
If the D'backs can beat the Phils tonight, the Reds will only be 7.5 back. :p:
