No Joey Votto in the #Reds lineup today. He’s dealing with tightness in his hamstring.

With an off day tomorrow, David Bell said he wanted to sit Votto to give him an extra 2 days rest. Expects he will be in lineup Friday. #Reds

Reds have scored 5+ runs on double-digit hits in 7 consecutive games, their longest such streak since the first 7 games of the 1976 season.

A 2nd Basemen playing 1st, a SS playing 2nd and a 2nd Baseman playing CF, so it seems normal.

Yeah, that looks bad.

That lineup is scary with Dietrich replacing Votto, but Peraza replaces Dietrich, so it evens out. Now, if Scooter was there...

Anytime you match a '76 Offensive Stat, that's sayin' something.

Radar look ominous...looks like storms are training. Looks like another DH in the future...

Looking at the future radar forecast they could get the game going later in the afternoon. Like around 2 or 3 pm if they are willing to wait around that long. The Pirates do come back to Cincinnati July 29-31. So we will see....
Re: Pirates @ Reds 12:35 Wed 5.29.19
I like that he put 4 righties at the top of the order vs a lefty who gets beat up by righties. Bell is starting to get the hang of this managing thing.
Re: Pirates @ Reds 12:35 Wed 5.29.19
The offense is producing so let's change the batting order again...................

left handed starter
Re: Pirates @ Reds 12:35 Wed 5.29.19
Per Sheldon on Twitter the game will not start on time. No approximate time has been announced either. So keep those hot dogs on the rolling grill going.
Re: Pirates @ Reds 12:35 Wed 5.29.19
I would think if there is a window for this game later in afternoon, they will get this in. Reds have day off tomorrow and they wont want another DH down the road.
Re: Pirates @ Reds 12:35 Wed 5.29.19
Wonder why Polanco is sitting? Gotta admit, the Pirates have done a nice job getting Reynolds and Cabrera. Those guys are excellent acquisitions.
Good to see DD get the start vs. the LHP. Really wish that had been the case at 2B.
Re: Pirates @ Reds 12:35 Wed 5.29.19
Glad to see Puig is okay. Didn't look so good running the bases last night, grabbed his leg and then came out.
