I'm not going to get excited until I see that Hue will NOT be the next head coach.

How about Eric Bienimey as Head Coach? Currently offensive coordinator with the Chiefs, and has Bengals ties that don't run through Lewis.

I have heard his name mentioned...don't love the fact that Andy Reid still calls the plays.
I would be all in on Kitchens from Cleveland or Fangio

That is a good first step but I won't feel good until I know the next head coach is not named Hue

Or Vance Joseph.
Re: 2018 Bengals Season: My House is Made of Mediocrity
Marvin was good for a period of time and brought the team a level of respectability (91-2004 were really bad)...the last few years however were pretty bad. The Bengals job is not one many in the league will be up for as they don't want to deal with Mike Brown and having to do more with less. I fully expect to be underwhelmed by the next HC.

I want Fangio or someone with a defensive background. Obviously it didn’t work with Marvin, but the offense is fine with a good coordinator. This team needs an overhaul on defense.

Mixed feelings - it was time for change, but Marvin did some good during his tenure and, now, I’m nervous about this front office making another hire. Marvin was a good choice. Can they repeat that?

...and that Marvin isn't "hanging around" with some official or unofficial title.

...again, it's always baby steps, but it's one more year, and it's every year, that Mike Brown does something positive that he hasn't done before.
