Has a 6.17 ERA so he'll fit right in.

Kris, the universe is telling you something, IMO. Gotta feel bad for the guy.

They keep showing the Reds' players' career/season stats against the Pirates... it is no surprise that the Reds own the Pirates. Holy lord.
Re: Wed 9/9/15 Pirates @ Reds- the return of Billy Ball!
How does Phillips have 11 RBIs vs the Pirates this year when he only has 3 HRs?

3 Vs the Pirates. But the answer I was looking for was Determination, magic and sac flies.

I was just commenting on how incredulous Thom was at the fact that Votto has only 65 RBIs vs the Pirates in 115 games but Brandon has 11 RBIs vs the Pirates just this season. Without considering where those RBIs came from.

I will echo that I think Keyvius throwing hard for an inning or two out of the pen and mixing in that curveball could be a nice asset for the Reds.

Has anyone ever seen @joetNOto and Thom at the same time?

His high walk rate has continued at every level this season. Until Keyvius licks that problem he will not be an effective pitcher as a starter or reliever.

Thom SAYS he's not on Twitter...but he knew more about Billy's birthday twitter post than anybody else.

I'm going to the Monday and Wednesday games at AT&T next week. Was hoping to get to see either Disco or Iglesias. But it looks instead like I'll get Sampson and Lorenzen. Maybe Leake will go for the Giants.

When was the last time the reds faced three LH SP in a row in a 3-game series?

Did you know I have proof that Votto used PEDs in 2010? Here it is, I'll break the story in this game thread:
He had 73 RBIs in 2013. Boom. Roasted.

Well I'm not saying you just gift-wrap him a bullpen spot, but I think he can compete for one. The walks are definitely an issue, but they aren't what has been holding him back as an effective pitcher so far with the Reds, it's the ball getting hammered all around and out of the park.
