I would put Bret Saberhagen, Hal McRae, Amos Otis, or Willie Wilson on there before Gordon.
Or Jorge Orta, just for beating out that grounder in the 1985 World Series.

Top four players for KC in WAR are Brett, Appier, Otis, and Wilson.
Watching the Cards-Brewers game and it never stops being weird how the Cardinals' announcer Dan McLaughlin makes everything sound like it's the most amazing play that has ever happened in the game of baseball.
Cardinals score a run in the 3rd and you would have thought that they won 5 World Series titles simultaneously.
I'm trying to be delicate here because I believe there is a time and a place to discuss topics. (Perhaps in a sub-forum below this one.)
"Enjoy" the video as to my opinion of why Royal fans don't believe some of those players are good enough for their personal Mt. Rushmore, while Gordon is:

Amos Otis was a baller.

That's a four-game sweep for the Indians over the White Sox. The AL Central is suddenly quite interesting...
Twins: 35-22 (three remaining vs. Reds)
White Sox: 34-23 (three remaining vs. Cubs)
Indians: 33-24 (three remaining vs. Pirates)
^Shame the Twins have something to play for.
Reds should help their Ohio baseball brotheren by sweeping the Twins and giving the Indians a chance to swoop in. :)
Hope to get off to a fast start tonight. Need to score first within the first 3 innings. Somehow, I see us hitting a lot of doubles tonight.
My head is still spinning from the thought of people believing Alex Gordon is a Hall of Famer.
If you're insinuating that Kentucky has a lot of the same "type" of fans as those in Kansas City, I will agree with you wholeheartedly. That is painfully obvious when perusing the comment sections in reaction to the comments and actions of current basketball and football players.
It is the nature, I suspect, of certain areas in our country.
