Cueto with a huuuuuge hanger to Alcantera and he knocks it out way out. 3-0 Cubbies.
Re: 8/26/2014 Reds vs Cubbies
Alcantara made Cueto a Szczur on that pitch.
Re: 8/26/2014 Reds vs Cubbies
Cueto may be wearing down just a bit. His last two starts he hasn't been as dominant as before. He's not been bad tonight, just not as awesome as he had been.

No, Thommy was talking about dogs. He's quite a dog guy, you know.

They're just great.
Re: 8/26/2014 Reds vs Cubbies
I remember the good old days when this board would have 37 posts just complaining about the lineup.

Not only a bad team, but a horrifically boring bad team at that. I've certainly seen worse teams as a Reds fan, but I think this has been the most boring Reds team in my memory. Don't put many rallies together, not very many walk-offs or come-from-behind wins, one of if not the worst offensive team in the league. Really been a tough year.
Re: 8/26/2014 Reds vs Cubbies
If it makes anyone feel better, Ike Davis just hit a 3 run homer against the Cardinals to put the Pirates ahead 5-2.

We've moved on to the final stage of grief. Acceptance.

Acceptance, yes. But I still harbor a smidge of hope.
Ramirez looks pretty effing good.

How many pitchers don't look good against them?

might be my problem -- I don't let the dentist give me gas or the shots ---
