Totally forgot about the DH this week. I would have put Billy out in CF and let Choo get a "day off" by being the DH. Oh well, at least Ludwick is the DH.

I did too. It took me a second to realize why Ludwick and Heisey were both in the game.

I would feel a lot more confident if the Reds' Designated Hitter was Pernell Whitaker.
A late scratch to the Astros' lineup. Mattress Mac will be leading off. He will 'Save you money'. A Houston institution.
Oh wow, didn't realize Cueto was starting so soon. This should be interesting. Glad it's against the Lastros.

Seeing Bill Devane makes me want to go buy some gold. He was truly outstanding in the incredible movie "Rolling Thunder". Not bad in a brief (very brief) appearance in the terrific "Payback".

Glad to see Cueto back, but I have a bad feeling about this. He's had problems every time he's tried to come back this season.

Hasn't he changed his delivery this time? I think I heard that on the radio over the weekend. That's what I'm most interested in seeing. Can he still be the same pitcher, using a different delivery.

I was hoping someone would get the connection.
That second Bad News Bears movie is not even close to the first one, but it's a masterpiece compared to that horrible third one.

Yeah, but he's been out for almost 3 months at this point, compared to just a few weeks the other times. If he's not ready now he won't be back until spring anyway, so it's a low risk, high reward situation. I honestly believe an effective Cueto and Marshall makes the Reds maybe not the favorite, but right up there to win the pennant if they can get past the coin flip game.

This thread could get scary if this game doesn't go well.
