1,752 yards is what his defense has given up the last 3 games.
Would love to see him at an SEC east school.

It is a really tough job. First you are in the massive shadow that Clemson now casts, but the most dominant era of Gamecock football was the Spurrier era who was 86-49 over 11 seasons and made their only appearance in the SEC Championship game....a beatdown from Auburn in 2010. Outside of the Head Ball Coach, success has been near impossible....even the great Lou Holtz was under .500 @ South Carolina. Maybe someone young and innovative....does things a little different similar to RichRod when he first came to WVU. I just do not see a situation where someone can compete there by simply lining up and playing a traditional style.
I would guess the ultimate get for South Carolina would be Brent Venables....but I just do not see him leaving Clemson anytime soon. Guy makes $2.4 Million as a DC @ a program that wins 10+ games a season....that is hard to beat.
Cincinnati getting no respect from the sportsbooks...opened @ Circa as only a 4 point favorite, the DK came in @ only a 3.5 point line. Over/under around 62....so they are projecting a 33-29 type game. Tulsa held UCF under 30 when they lost some key weapons for the game, but no other team has this year. UCF is the #1 offense in the country averaging 620 yards of offense a game and 44 Points, and the Bearcats are one of the stingiest defenses in the country only allowing about 300 yards a game and around 12 points a contest. Something is going to have to give!
I think this could be the most interesting game of the week. If there was no COVID and they allowed a full stadium, I would have to attend this one.
3:30 PM ET in Orlando @ the Bounce House on ESPN!
BYU plays North Alabama this week....and do not play again until they play San Diego State on 12/12! That is 4 weeks off.
Our secondary is really really good. I just don't think any college team is going to throw the ball with any sustained success against this Bearcat secondary, gotta run on us to open up passing and be able to stop our offense/stay close to win. And UCF isn't holding us under 30, they prolly won't hold us under 40. I think we'll handle UCF comfortably and Gardner will get himself another pick.
