I think that I am ready for a day without revenue college athletics. It`s time to adopt club sports as the means to develop players for the pros. The universities have proven themselves incapable of policing themselves.
I think the FBI probe in college basketball was the tip of the iceberg. This is worse especially when combined with Penn State and Baylor for NCAA athletics as a whole.
I’m honestly surprised because I thought Izzo was a better person. To be honest though I don’t think there is any coach who is squeaky clean, and that includes Coach K.

I never saw a college over the last 40 years where it wasn't like this. University Presidents have always been the problem.
Teachers have been hiding their fellow teachers from prosecution for decades and decades at every educational level.

Athletic trainers who still work for MSU are charged with having known about Nasser's abuses not only did nothing about it but are still employed at MSU.

This is all sickening. Things are going to get much worse for MSU - and deservedly so...

Not so sure the NCAA will be able to do much. Seems like they overreached in the Penn State case. The civil and criminal cases will result in punishment for the accused but as for the university penalties I would guess it will be less than people want.

Interim MSU president John Engler allegedly offered a Nassar victim $250K to settle a lawsuit against MSU and saying other victims have given a dollar amount to him to settle.
