Epic battle last night

The game does not involve any of the Reds farm teams but deserves notice for its wackiness. The Greensboro Grasshoppers beat the Hickory crawdads 16 to 15 in 13 innings. The game was tied 3-3 at the end of regulation. Both teams scored 2 runs in the 10th and 3 runs in the 11th. Greensborough brought in their outfielder who also pitches, and he promptly gave up 6 runs in the top of the 13th. But in the bottom of the 13th, Greensboro had scored 2 runs but were down to their last strike with 2 outs. Single, single, single later and who comes to the plate, but the guy who had given up 6 runs in the top of the 13th, with the bases loaded and by math you know the rest of the story…. He hit a grand slam to win the game.
