Re: 8/22/2017 Reds vs Cubs
I've said it before: Votto is the only hitter in the major leagues who can be ahead in the count 0-2.

Well, I gotta get up early tomorrow. I think I'm going to switch over to Kelch & the Cowboy on the radio side.
Re: 8/22/2017 Reds vs Cubs
Watching all these walks and 3 ball counts can drive a fan to drink...:alcohol:
Re: 8/22/2017 Reds vs Cubs
Baez definitely switches it up with 2 strikes
Re: 8/22/2017 Reds vs Cubs
Cubs hitting them where the Reds ain't!
Re: 8/22/2017 Reds vs Cubs
You can't keep getting up 1-2 and continue to pitch to a full count.

Re: 8/22/2017 Reds vs Cubs
Pitching around Votto worked again
Re: 8/22/2017 Reds vs Cubs
I'm really starting to hate these guys the Reds have allowed to throw off the mound for them this year - I can't call them pitchers because that would be insulting to pitchers.
Re: 8/22/2017 Reds vs Cubs
I've said it all year long...this bullpen does not have an above average reliever aside from Iglesias.
Re: 8/22/2017 Reds vs Cubs
You can't keep getting up by 3 runs, then squandering it!

He's only doing what every other pitcher on the Reds does.
Re: 8/22/2017 Reds vs Cubs
Word is Bailey was removed for precaution due to irritation behind his right shoulder. Oy vey.

Peralta is quite good, just overworked. Pitches virtually every game. Lorenzen, I think, hurt by overwork.
